A theatrical production and community event unlike any other, the 2010 City at Peace-L.A.@Inside Out Community Arts production paints a vivid, poignant picture of life as a teenager in modern day Los Angeles. The musical Way Out of Nowhere written and performed entirely by CP–LA@IOCA's 30 young members, tells the true stories of teenage struggles with sexuality, friendship, domestic violence, rape, poverty, and gang violence. Based on the lives and experiences of the cast, the stories are both eye opening and inspiring.
